Product News Network® , A Product Of ThomasNet Incorporated, To Provide LexisNexisTM Users With New Product News.

NEW YORK, NY, May 14, 2002 - Product News Network® (PNN), a product of ThomasNet Incorporated, today announced an agreement whereby PNN's timely, reliable and complete industrial product information will be available to LexisNexisTM users. LexisNexis is the global leader in legal, news and business information services. ThomasNet Incorporated is a wholly owned subsidiary of Thomas Publishing Company.

"Research shows that decision-makers look for information on new product developments to help them make better business decisions. Despite the proliferation of financial, sports and general consumer-orientated information on the Internet, there is a genuine void of product news aggregated in one offering," said Paul Gerbino, Publisher of Product News Network. "PNN is the only provider of this mission critical information for the industrial market that is both comprehensive and easy to search."

By providing PNN content, LexisNexis subscribers will have complete access to the more than 1,000 new product news items reported each month and over 200,000 archived articles from North American manufacturers. In addition, LexisNexis subscribers will be able to locate product releases by searching product heading(s), keyword(s) and company name.

"We are excited to make our information available through LexisNexis, a world-class information service," Gerbino said. "Now, professionals in the industrial sector can tap into the most relevant product news, developed by PNN, on the LexisNexis service."
